This year, in lieu of our annual gala, WMS will be hosting a new, exciting event: THE ART WALK & AUCTION! This adult-only event will take place outdoors on our campus the evening of Saturday, April 29, and childcare will be provided.

These one-of-a-kind pieces will be available for auction during the event, and you can view them and more on the auction website, where new items will be continuously added leading up to the event. We encourage you to consider donating handcrafted art and hope to see you there!

Get Inspired
This re-imagined fundraiser promises to be lots of fun and will feature artwork created by our students, staff, and community members. The Art Cellar is helping us to craft class-wide projects, and we would like students, teachers, staff, alumni, and community members to contribute individual pieces to be showcased and auctioned during the event. We are welcoming art submissions in a wide variety of mediums including but not limited to paintings, sculptures, watercolors, pottery, woodwork, embroidery, quilting, crocheting, photography, calligraphy, or glass work. Anything handmade or homemade is perfect!

We’re going to have a full house for the event, and we are pleased to share that we have reached capacity for our onsite childcare.

How Do We Use the Dollars Raised?
Your generosity in supporting our Starry, Starry Night Art Walk + Auction will enable the school to expand our science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) materials, which will allow our students to build a strong foundation for their futures in the modern world. The proceeds will also allow the integration of digital and online resources, making students’ introduction to technology an exciting exploration. In addition, the proceeds from the gala provide for materials needed to support the mission of Westside Montessori School, and enable faculty and staff the opportunity to participate in professional development and further their training in the Montessori method.
